Since the result of my last poll showed that most of you guys wanted to see a WIP. Those of you who rather want to see the finished drawing, just close your eyes .
What I did so far:
-outlines (I usually use a ruler to measure the proportions, some things I do freehand) -as you can see, I don't like working and finishing one part of the drawing first. I get annoyed with an area pretty quickly so I usually switch from one part to another. Because of that, my drawings only look finish when they actually are. -when i was done with the outlines I did the skin with a 0.5 2B pencil. After priming with the pencil, I smudged it with a tissue. That's where we stand now. What I'm gonna do next:
-finishing the skin tones, I'm gonna add more pencil layers plus I'm going to erase some highlights with a kneadable eraser.
Tell me if you want another WIP of this drawing. Also, feel free to ask questions if you have any!
Wow! This is amazing. I stumbled on your gallery and I love all of it. I've been trying to get the photo realism style with graphite that you have, but I'm no where near this level. What do you use to blend the shading so well?
Thank you very much dear! for watching too! well first of all, it's crucial that you use bristol paper. then, never touch the paper with your finger unless you want stains that you will never ever get rid of. ^^ smudge with a tissue.
May i ask something ?
Did you only use 2 B pencil for skin at this first step drawing ?
i just wanna ask u something .. did u use the grid technique on this ?
